Lowton Lands Millions
Hundreds of neighbours from Lowton are set for a fantastic end to their April after learning their community has won £7.9 Million with People's Postcode Lottery.
Winners in the area have already been told they've each scooped a minimum of £5,000, but the full amounts won't be revealed until Saturday 30th April.
The £7.9 Million prize will be divided between lottery players in the winning postcode sector of WA3 1. Those playing with the full postcode, which will be revealed on that Saturday, will receive the biggest prizes.
Winners have been invited to an exclusive event where they'll receive their golden envelopes and learn how much they've each won. People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Judie McCourt said, "I am buzzing with excitement for our Lowton winners and can't wait to bring them this incredible news. I'm sure they'll all be excited for Saturday, and I think this surprise will make their weekend!"
Supporting Good Causes
Today's prize is part of a draw promoted by Postcode Children Trust, which funds charities that inspire and support children and young people to make the most of their lives and opportunities within their communities. Organisations that benefit include Young Lives vs Cancer, Magic Breakfast, and Whizz-Kidz.
Local good causes have also benefited from player support. Creating Adventures in Warrington received a grant of £11,434 to enrich the lives of adults with autism and learning disabilities through the provision of activities in the community.
With People's Postcode Lottery, 33% of the ticket price goes to Charities. Our amazing players have raised more than £900 Million for thousands of good causes.
