Cash And Keys For Kennoway

Three neighbours in Kennoway have scooped an incredible cash prize of £25,000 each thanks to playing People's Postcode Lottery.

The Kenmount Drive neighbours picked up the prize when their lucky postcode, KY8 5EZ, was announced as a winner.

One of our winners, Karen, was over the moon with the win. She said, "I'm in shock and I think it's going to take quite a while to sink in – I never thought something like this could happen to someone like me! I'll be whisking my husband William off to somewhere hot, like Tenerife or Lanzarote, so we can both grab a bit of winter sun. We've been carrying out lots of home improvements recently and winning this cash means we'll be able to get them completed quicker than we previously expected."

As well as the cheque, lucky Karen also picked up the keys for a brand new BMW. She added, "I was thrilled with £25,000 so getting the car on top of that has just about tipped me over the edge. William and I are having an overnight stay in Edinburgh with friends at the weekend and we'll definitely be having a few cocktails to celebrate now! It's such a worthwhile thing to do as so much money goes towards supporting charities and I'm proof that you can win too!"

Another winner Charles, was thrilled with his win. He picked up an amazing cheque for £25,000.

Our third winner wasn't available to collect their cheque, but their prize will be paid directly into their bank account.

With People's Postcode Lottery, 32% of the ticket price goes to charities and good causes. To date, our players have raised £340 Million for over 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally. This prize was part of a draw promoted by Postcode Children Trust.

One local charity that has benefited from funding thanks to players of People's Postcode Lottery is Raith Rovers Community Foundation. The group received £14,993 to set up a walking football group, allowing individuals who are less physically able to participate in sport.
