Chesterfield Cheers On Win

09 April - S40 1LN - Chesterfield - £25,000

A lucky postcode in Chesterfield has left three players of People's Postcode Lottery over the moon after scooping the £25,000 Saturday Street Prize. S40 1LN was drawn as a winner on Saturday, meaning the Clarence Road players all bag a brilliant £25,000 windfall.

Lucky winner Angela Cook still can't believe her postcode has landed her such a giant win!

Angela said, "It still hasn't sunk in that I've won £25,000 – I never thought it happens to people like me but now I know it does. We moved in November to this house, and I'm glad I'm in my new lucky postcode.

"My partner Phillip and I have been together for 20 years and are getting married on 29th July this year. This win means we'll be able to plan a really memorable honeymoon! I've told all my friends to start playing because they could be next. Anyone can win when you play People's Postcode Lottery."

People's Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt, who presented the five-figured cheque to Angela, added, "Chesterfield is one of my favourite places to visit! It's great to meet our players who are making such a huge difference to so many good causes. I hope Angela and Phillip have a lovely wedding and a really special honeymoon thanks to People's Postcode Lottery."

The other two winners weren't around to receive their cheques, but they will surely be surprised to find a hefty £25,000 deposited directly into their account.

As a charity lottery, People's Postcode Lottery players have raised over £113.8 Million for good causes across Great Britain and internationally. Supported charities near Chesterfield include the Chesterfield TimeBank which received £8,077 to help promote mental health and provide community support by those affected by mental health issues.

Players in Stoke-on-Trent were also big winners this weekend.
