A player from Shildon is thanking their lucky stars this week after scooping an impressive £30,000.
The happy player landed this fantastic win when their postcode, DL4 2QU, was drawn as the winner of Sunday's Street Prize.
As a charity lottery, a minimum of 31% of the ticket price goes to good causes. Players have, to date, raised over £229 Million for charities across Great Britain and internationally.
A local cause that has received support from players is Shildon Amateur Boxing Club, which was awarded £950 this year. This will assist in buying new equipment such as head guards, sparring gloves, and pads.
Another lucky winner in Bromlow landed a colossal £30,000 when his postcode was drawn as Saturday's Street Prize winner.
