A Halifax postcode, HX3 9HP, has won Saturday's Street Prize, scooping one lucky resident a staggering £30,000!
Winner Ian was overjoyed when Street Prize Presenter Matt Johnson appeared at his door with a golden envelope.
Ian couldn't believe his eyes when he discovered how much he had won, and said, "The only luck I usually get is bad luck so when I saw Matt at the door I thought it was a wind-up. This is a massive surprise – it's just great!"
"I've had my eye on an Audi S5 convertible for a while so I'll be able to treat myself to that now! I'm also going to splash out on a holiday to Tenerife for two weeks and I'll put a little bit in the bank for a rainy day too."
One of the reasons that Ian loves playing People's Postcode Lottery is because there are so many chances to win, "There are daily prizes, weekly prizes and monthly prizes all for a tenner a month so signing up to play was a no-brainer for me."
Offering his congratulations, Matt said, "It's been my absolute pleasure to present Ian with his cheque today. I'm over the moon for him and hope he has a fabulous time spending his prize. Make sure you've signed up to play and it could be your door I'm knocking on!"
With 32% of the ticket price going to charity, players have now raised £291 Million for over 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
One charity close to our winner that has benefited from the support of players is Unique Ways. The group was awarded £19,834 last year to purchase specialist toys and equipment for its sensory aids library, used by disabled children in the area.
There were smiles elsewhere this weekend too, as two players scooped £30,000 prizes in Sunday's Street Prize, and over 800 neighbours shared a massive £3 Million prize pot in April's Postcode Millions.
