Car Prize

BMW For Bridgend

29 October - CF31 4TU - Bridgend - £5,000 + BMW

Six lucky neighbours in Bridgend have bagged a £5,000 prize for each of their tickets this weekend – and one of the winners also picked up the keys to a brand new BMW. The players from Bridgend scooped the prize with their postcode, CF31 4TU.

£10,000 winner Helen Gibbs, who plays with two tickets, was delighted with her prize. "I forgot that I played with two tickets, so I couldn't believe it when I saw the cheque. I didn't think it was my mine!

"I'd really like a new kitchen, so this win will help to pay for that. It was great to win with my neighbours. We're all friends and there was a lovely reaction from everyone. We'll all celebrate together."

Deborah Dicks, who works in her local supermarket, scooped £5,000. Commenting on her win, she said, "I've been invited to my niece's wedding in Dubai next year, so this will pay for the flights. Winning People's Postcode Lottery has been an amazing experience."

Julie Summers picked up £10,000, and two other players, Tim Rees and Sheila Lewis, scooped £5,000 each. The winner of the BMW was not available to receive their prize from Matt.

This isn't the first big win for Bridgend. In March last year, four ladies scooped £200,000 each when their postcode, CF31 2PJ, was the winner of the March Postcode Millions draw.

People's Postcode Lottery Ambassador Matt Johnson said, "It's great when neighbours share this experience. Thank you to our lucky winners in Bridgend who have helped raise lots of money for good causes."

Players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised over £148 Million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

A project that has received player support near today's winners is Aim2tri Triathlon Club, which was awarded £1,500 this year to purchase equipment to increase participation among young people and women.
