Celebrations In St. Helens

St. Helens players in sector WA10 6 are in for a Christmas treat

Christmas is coming early to a St. Helens postcode sector, as WA10 6 has been announced as the winner of December's Postcode Millions in a Facebook Live video today. All of the lucky residents who play with a ticket in the postcode sector will land a share of the cash.

The players will find out exactly how much they've won on Saturday 22nd December. Those who play with a ticket in the full winning postcode will pick up the biggest share of the money, and players' prizes will vary depending on how many tickets they play with.

This isn't the first time that a St. Helens postcode has scooped the £3 Million prize pot, as neighbours in WA9 5PP celebrated winning the monthly prize last year.

People's Postcode Lottery Presenters Matt Johnson and Jeff Brazier will be knocking on the winners' doors and handing them their cheques. Matt said, "Congratulations St. Helens! I can't believe it's scooped the Postcode Millions prize twice in two years, and I can't wait to be back spreading some Christmas cheer by handing out some lovely cheques. Good luck to all of the players in WA10 6!"

With 32% of the ticket price going to charity, players have raised £371 Million for more than 5,500 charities to date.

A number of local projects in St. Helens have received support from players of People's Postcode Lottery, including Warrington Youth Club. The club received £13,576 last year to work with young men with mental health problems.
