Wythenshawe's Wonderful Win

Lucky Wythenshawe players are set to share a massive £3 Million in this month's Postcode Millions

The community of Wythenshawe today discovered that some of its residents are set to share a £3 Million lottery windfall.

The postcode sector M22 5 has been announced in a Facebook Live video as the winner of People's Postcode Lottery's coveted Postcode Millions monthly prize.

All of the lucky players in the sector will take home a share of the cash.

Residents will find out exactly how much they've won on Saturday 24th November, when People's Postcode Lottery Presenters will be knocking on the doors of some of the winners. The full winning postcode will also be revealed on that day – those who play with that postcode will receive the largest share of the prize money.

People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Danyl Johnson will be in Wythenshawe to reveal the winning amounts. Danyl said, "I am so excited to be heading to Wythenshawe to meet our winners and hand out some big cheques, just in time for Christmas!"

Last month, more than 240 people in Pershore shared the £3 Million prize. Three lucky winners walked away with a top prize of £321,170 each.

With 32% of the ticket price going to charities, players have raised over £361 Million for more than 4,000 good causes to date.

A number of local projects have received support from players of People's Postcode Lottery, including The Creativity Group in Wythenshawe. The group was awarded £2,000 earlier this year to run weekly support groups for people living with dementia.
