Following last week's announcement that a Castle Bromwich postcode sector has won £2 Million in February's Postcode Millions draw, players will be excited to hear that the minimum prize is £3,000 per ticket.
On Saturday 22nd February, Fazeley Studios in Birmingham will host the winners' celebration for the Postcode Millions where all winning players within postcode sector B36 9 will learn exactly how much of the £2 Million prize they have won. Those living in the full winning postcode, to be revealed on the day, will walk away with the lion's share of the £2 Million prize.
People's Postcode Lottery Ambassador, Judie McCourt, will be presenting players with their cheques and is excited to see the winners' reactions. “The best part of my job is telling players how much they've won and seeing how they react to the news. I'm really looking forward to the event in the Birmingham area and I'm sure the players are too.”
Winners, who have already been notified, are invited to attend the cheque presentation from 12pm on Saturday to celebrate with their neighbours.
Players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised over £36.9 Million for charities and good causes, including Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), Missing People, Canal & River Trust and mac birmingham, who will all be in attendance at the event.
RDA, who have riding groups in the Birmingham area, are delighted to be attending the first Postcode Millions event of 2014.
RDA Chief Executive, Ed Bracher says: “The support we have received from players of People's Postcode Lottery has been quite overwhelming and is a massive boost to RDA and its volunteers. Tackling waiting lists and increasing the help we can offer to our groups are real priorities right now and funds from the players will have an immediate and lasting impact on our organisation and the people we help.”
