Lucky winners will be contacted from today and will be invited to attend a special event on Saturday 28th November, held within the stunning grounds of the National Trust's Dyffryn Gardens. There they will find out how much they've won.

This will be the sixth time a community in Wales has scooped the £2 Million prize, taking the total amount won in Postcode Millions events in Wales to over £12 Million. Previous winners include Bridgend, Swansea, Newport, and Port Talbot – on two occasions!

People's Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt, who will be revealing the prizes, said, "I can't believe I'll be dishing out more cheques to our lucky players in Wales. It's going to be a fantastic day in Pontyclun."

55p from every £2 ticket goes to good causes. So far players have raised an amazing £91 Million for charities across Great Britain and internationally.

Players of People's Postcode Lottery have already given much needed support to a number of projects near to Pontyclun, including Ray of Light Cancer Support Group, which received £2,000 to set up a telephone service for those suffering with loneliness and isolation. Mental health charity Assure Support and The Wellbeing Service C.I.C. received £1,510 to give users access to trained counsellors and peer support in group sessions.
