Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust has reached the final four for a competition to win €30,000 from the European Outdoor Conservation Association.

The money would be spent working with the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority to repair and maintain sections of the Three Peaks footpath route. Thousands of people take on the official Three Peaks Challenge every year. Many more pick and choose sections of the path, allowing them to enjoy the peaks individually.

The winner will be decided by the public, via anonline vote. The vote opens today, 09 March 2011, and runs fortwo weeks. Voting is quick and easy - so go to www.lfto.com/conservation and do your bit. Just one click is all it takes to support their bid to help maintain this iconic route.
