Wirral-Win Has Blown Us Away!

HUNDREDS of people in Wirral, Merseyside, are celebrating today after learning that they've scooped September's Postcode Millions prize.

A total of 248 neighbours in the CH46 7 postcode sector have landed a share of £3.2 Million - but the biggest winners have yet to be revealed.

Players in the winning postcode sector have landed cash prizes ranging from £5,904 to £29,520, depending on how many tickets they play with.

The full winning postcode will be announced by midday on Saturday 28 September. Anyone playing with the winning postcode will take home the largest cash prizes.

People's Postcode Lottery presenter Judie McCourt said: "What a wonderful surprise for hundreds of Wirral residents. I'm sure the town will be buzzing with excitement today!

"I can't wait to celebrate the town's win on Saturday as we reveal the postcode that's won the biggest prizes!"

Players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised more than £1.3 Billion for thousands of charities and good causes, including organisations close to the Wirral winners.

Ahead Of The Game Foundation received £25,000 last year. The vital funding provided training and equipment for the charity's staff to run free weekly physical therapy sessions for people living with cancer in Merseyside.

This month's Postcode Millions draw was held on behalf of Postcode Support Trust which supports organisations including Crisis UK, Missing People and Royal Voluntary Service.
