Two Locking residents are celebrating winning People's Postcode Lottery's Street Prize today.

The Woolvers Way neighbours, who play with the postcode BS24 7DW, landed £30,000 each. The players were not available to receive their cheques unfortunately, but their winnings will be transferred directly into their bank accounts.

Players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised more than £182 Million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

A project near the Locking winners that has received support from players is Age UK Somerset, which was awarded £20,000 last year to offer IT assistance for people over 55 who are disadvantaged due to low income or disability.

Locking wasn't the only area celebrating this weekend, as lucky players in Norwich also won £30,000 per ticket and the March Postcode Millions landed in Brechin.
