Big Reward For Hainford

Six neighbours from Hainford are partying this weekend as their postcode, NR10 3TA, has been drawn as Sunday's Street Prize winner.

Five of the Harvest Close winners scooped £30,000 each, while a sixth plays with three tickets so trebled their prize to £90,000.

Anne was the lucky £90,000 winner. She said, "It's beyond a dream! You never think it'll happen to you, but it actually has happened to me.

"Dogs are the closest to my heart, so to know that my money is supporting Dog's Trust makes it even better. I don't know any of the neighbours that well, but it's nice to know that as a community we've all been supporting the charities."

Jeanette was shaking as Jeff Brazier presented her with her cheque for £30,000. She said, "This is astonishing! I live at a different postcode now and when I called to change my address I was asked if I wanted to change my postcode. I had strong feeling I shouldn't and thank goodness I listened to that feeling – it's brought me £30,000!"

Malcolm was over the moon, and has already made plans to spend some of his win on spoiling his grandchildren and making renovations to his campervan. He said, "This is absolutely brilliant. I'm more than pleased with £30,000."

Another winner, Ann, didn't think she was going to be able to get away from work, but she couldn't wait any longer to find out how much she'd won and managed to nip away to collect her £30,000 cheque.

The two other winners weren't available to receive their cheques, but their winnings will be paid directly into their bank accounts.

Street Prize Presenter Jeff Brazier congratulated the winners. He said, "I'm absolutely delighted for all of the winners. It's fantastic to see so many neighbours winning together!"

To date, more than £272 Million has been raised by players of People's Postcode Lottery, for over 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

Players have supported the nearby Zoological Society of East Anglia. The group received £18,644 in funding last year to purchase a van, allowing them to deliver conservation and environmental education to children all over the area.
