Riches In Bridgwater

Eight lucky players in Bridgwater have ended their week on a high! Their postcode, TA6 4EU, has scooped them an incredible £30,000 each as they've won Friday's #30KADAY Street Prize.

One of our winners, Andrew, is planning to help his sister build a sheep shed after their father passed away four years ago. Andrew said, "My dad used to own a farm here in Somerset but since he passed away parts of the land have been sold. My sister still looks after sheep and has had to rent land elsewhere which has been quite tough.

"She's one of the nicest people I know so to make her life easier, I'm going to give her money to build her own sheep shed. I also used to work in Bermuda but moved back in 1999 so I'm hoping to use the rest of the money to treat myself to a holiday. 

"I'm so happy I started playing People's Postcode Lottery. I'm a huge supporter of helping local causes, especially animal and bird charities. To know they're being helped while people like me can win prizes too is such a great feeling!"

Out Of The Blue

Valerie is another lucky winner who scooped a £30,000 prize. She said, "What a lovely surprise to have the team turn up at my door - it was totally out of the blue! 

"I really enjoy playing as it's nice to know local charities are benefiting, as well as us players. I don't know what I'm going to spend the money on yet, but it will definitely give a great boost to the savings!"

Street Prize Presenter Danyl Johnson was in Bridgwater to meet our winners. He said, "What an amazing group of people we got to meet in Bridgwater. There was a real buzz on the street as we headed along to present each neighbour with their cheques. It was also very exciting to hear how they all plan to spend their cash!"
