Four Bradford players of People's Postcode Lottery have lots to be glad about after scooping an amazing £280,724 each!
They were the big winners in our monthly Postcode Millions draw, where a community in Great Britain shares a £3 Million prize.
There were a total of 273 players in the winning sector BD7 4. The minimum amount won by players was £6,133.
The four biggest cheques went to Bradford residents in Great Horton Road, who play with postcode BD7 4AG, the full winning postcode in the Millions draw.
Local charities Scholemoor Beacon, City of Bradford YMCA and Bradford LGB&T Strategic Partnership were also winners today as they discovered that they will each be receiving £500. This funding will be awarded from People's Postcode Trust, Postcode Local Trust and Postcode Community Trust, all grant-giving charities funded entirely by players of People's Postcode Lottery.
Details of the prize amounts, including the full winning postcode, were revealed earlier today.
Judie McCourt, Ambassador for People's Postcode Lottery, said, "I was all set to head to Bradford to hand out some cheques when this snowy weather changed our plans. Winners will be contacted today by our team to advise them of their prize amounts, with confirmation due to arrive in the post tomorrow. Congratulations to all of our players in the lucky postcode sector!"
With a minimum of 32% of the ticket price going to charity, People's Postcode Lottery players have raised over £272 Million for more than 4,000 good causes to date.
It's a weekend full of winners, with more players getting lucky in our Saturday Street Prize and Sunday's Street Prize draws. Congratulations to all our happy winners, and thanks again for your amazing support for good causes.
