Cheques For Ketley Bank

04 June - TF2 0DU - Ketley Bank - £25,000

This weekend, there were celebrations in Ketley Bank in Telford as a Saturday Street Prize landed in postcode TF2 0DU. Winner Cheryl Coleing-Wale was ecstatic to discover she had won an incredible £25,000.

Cheryl said, "I’ve never been more shocked in my entire life! I thought that I’d maybe won £1,000 but to realise it was £25,000 was incredible.

“I’ve always wanted to go to the Caribbean so now’s my chance. I think there might also be some home renovations on the cards so the money couldn’t have come at a better time.

My best friend won a couple of years ago with the Postcode Millions so it was her that convinced me to sign up - I’ve already sent her a big thank you!

People's Postcode Lottery Ambassador Judie McCourt said, "It was an absolute pleasure to meet Cheryl and present her with the cheque. Well done to her for scooping such an amazing prize, and thank you for playing People’s Postcode Lottery and helping to raise millions of pounds for so many charities and good causes."

People's Postcode Lottery players support a fantastic range of charities across Britain and around the world. So far, they've raised more than £124 Million for good causes. Charities local to the winning postcode include the Madeley Community Orchard in Barlett Gardens. People's Postcode Lottery players awarded this deserving community project £2,000. The project provides a green space for local people to enjoy. The grounds includes fruit trees, a sensory garden, raised beds and vegetable plots. The organisation aims to promote positive changes in health, diet and exercise and seeks to encourage local people to work, play and learn new skills together.

There was also, undoubtedly, partying in Walthamstow this weekend as a second Saturday Street Prize landed in E17 9RW.
