Merry In Maerdy

Three neighbours in Maerdy in Wales have received a fantastic New Year's Eve surprise after scooping £5,000 cheques with their postcode. One of the lucky winners from Richard Street also picked up the keys to a brand new BMW!

The residents all play with postcode CF43 4AU, which was drawn as a winner in our monthly BMW and £5,000 draw.

Players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised more than £161 Million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

A project which has received player support near Maerdy is the British Institute for Geological Conservation, which was awarded more than £10,000 this year to create a prehistoric community garden.

This was a bumper weekend for prizes, as players in Greenside and Ingleby Barwick both took home Saturday Street Prizes, and Reedham players will be jetting off, thanks to their Dream Holiday win.
