Exciting News For Ayrshire

In Ayrshire, players in postcode sector KA6 6 shared an amazing £2 Million with the December Postcode Millions. Four very happy residents walked away with a whopping £250,000 each.

Malcolm Duff, Emma Happell, Susan Taylor and Neil Wilson were all ecstatic to discover that their postcode, KA6 6GZ in Dalrymple, had won them each a share of £1 Million.

Emma Happell, 31, burst into tears when People's Postcode Lottery's Judie McCourt presented her with her £250,000 cheque. Emma said, "I'm totally numb. I don't think this will ever sink in."

Mother of three Emma attended the event with husband of ten years, Colin. "We've never won anything before, it's unbelievable," she said. "I can't wait to see the look on my three girls' faces."

For Susan Taylor, 56, the win has come at a perfect time as she is planning to emigrate to Spain next year with her husband Dave. "It's been a lifelong dream of mine to move to Spain," she said. "My sister already lives there and we had planned to go out and maybe rent an apartment but now we'll be able to buy!"

Bankteller Susan, was blown away to win the £250,000 and exclaimed, "I can retire now!" when she was presented with her cheque.

As well as the planned move to Spain, Susan would love to use the money to help her extended family. "Between my husband and me, we have four children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. I have lots of people to treat. Thank you People's Postcode Lottery."

Malcolm Duff, 40, has never won anything before and was not expecting such a large cheque. "This is brilliant," he said. Malcolm, who works as a roof designer, is planning to take forward his part-time job creating vehicle stickers. "I've always wanted to work for myself," he said. "I might be able to do that now."

The fourth winner, Neil Wilson, was unable to attend the event. Neil instead invited his father, Danny Wilson, to accept his £250,000 cheque on his behalf. "Neil will be so shocked to find out how much he's won.” Danny said. “I would have been a winner too if I was a player. I'll certainly be signing up now."

A total of 95 players were part of a People's Postcode Lottery celebration which saw residents in the KA6 6 postcode sector share £2 Million. Prizes ranged from £815 up to £250,000. Winners and their families were invited to an exclusive cheque presentation at Enterkine House Hotel in Ayrshire.

One winner, Maureen Hyslop, drove away with a brand new BMW 1 series as well as pocketing a cheque for £19,560. "I actually just got a new car in September," she said. "I think I'll have to spend my amazing winnings on petrol!"
