Nine neighbours from Eccles enjoyed amazing cash windfalls on Saturday, all thanks to their postcode. Players from Lulworth Road took home the biggest shares of our monthly £3 Million prize when postcode M30 8WP was drawn in May's Postcode Millions. One player, Clare, scooped a thrilling £300,000. Another eight neighbours each collected cheques for £150,000.
Clare, who works in security, scooped the biggest prize of the day. She picked up a massive £300,000, after playing People's Postcode Lottery with two tickets tickets. Clare said, "I've played the lottery for a few years and I was going to cancel recently because I was short of money, but I'm so glad today that I didn't do that. Never in a million years did I think my postcode would come up. This money will mean that I can pay off the mortgage and move closer to work, because at the moment I travel 60 miles a day for my job. I think I'll celebrate by taking my boyfriend Tim on a nice holiday. I never realized how many people on my road played the lottery until now and it feels great to win with them all!"
Project Manager and mother-of-two Gillian was thrilled to win £150,000. She's now going to plan her wedding with partner Dan. Gillian said, "We've been engaged for three years, but because we couldn't afford a wedding we kept putting it off. We always wanted a small wedding and we'll still do that, but now we can make it extra special for our guests. We've also just moved house recently and we had a ten-year plan for doing it up, but with this win we can get things done much quicker."
Retired Frank had two reasons to celebrate this weekend. As well as picking up a cheque for £150,000, Frank was also celebrating his 50th wedding anniversary with wife Brenda. He said, "This is just marvellous. I'm in complete shock – I've never had this amount of money before in my life!"
Frank and Brenda are celebrating the golden weekend with a party at their daughter's house. They have already started making plans to spend the windfall. Frank said, "It would be lovely to go on holiday to Benidorm as we were last there 23 years ago. I'll also be helping out our three kids too."
£150,000 winner Gary is also heading away on holiday to Ibiza to celebrate. Other winners from Lulworth Road were Wesley, Elizabeth, Jill, Karen and Steven.

The winners made the atmosphere electric and it really was a massive pleasure to hand out such life-changing amounts of money. Well done to each and every one of our winners in Eccles."
