One lucky resident in Sydenham has landed a £25,000 prize and a brand new BMW all thanks to playing People's Postcode Lottery!
Winner Jennifer discovered that her postcode, SE26 4ST, had been drawn as a winner when People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Judie McCourt knocked on her door and handed her the cheque, and the keys for her new set of wheels.
Jennifer was stunned by the win. She said, "Wow – I'm completely overwhelmed. I could never even have dreamed of this. My car has been off the road since January and I haven't been able to get it fixed so this is perfect timing!"
The win also means a lot to Jennifer as her mum passed away just under a year ago, "Things have been really hard since I lost my mum last June, so this definitely gives me something to smile about again. I think I'll treat my two daughters and my granddaughter to a well-deserved holiday somewhere hot, possibly the Caribbean!"
Judie McCourt offered her congratulations and said, "It's been an absolute pleasure to present Jennifer with not just one, but two prizes today. To be in with a chance of winning make sure that you are signed up to play!"
With People's Postcode Lottery, 32% of the ticket price goes to charities. Players have raised £282 Million to date, for over 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
One charity near to our winner, supported by players, is Wide Horizons. The group was awarded £19,948 last year to deliver outdoor education to local children.

It's been a great time to play recently, as over 600 neighbours scooped a share of £3 Million in March's Postcode Millions, five players will be jetting off after winning the Dream Holiday prize. Our BMW and £25,000 is won every single month, and last month was no different as two players picked up £25,000 each and one drove away in their brand new BMW.
