Three Cheers For Higham Ferrers

11 February 2018 - NN10 8NA - Higham Ferrers - £30,000

Three neighbours in Higham Ferrers are rejoicing after their postcode landed them £30,000 each.

Their lucky postcode, NN10 8NA, was drawn in Sunday's Street Prize. Each winner picked up a whopping £30,000.

One of the lucky winners Robert said, "This will pay for my stepdad to take my mum on a cruise. She has dementia and he is her carer. He has always wanted to go on a cruise so this will be a nice break for them."

Robert plans to treat himself as well, saying, "I'd like to go to the speedway grand prix and maybe bring a friend along with me."

Congratulating the winners, Jeff said, "I'm thrilled every time I get to knock on someone's door to tell them they've won! When neighbours win together it's fantastic and that's what playing People's Postcode Lottery is all about. It's not only players who benefit from People's Postcode Lottery, as a minimum of 32% of the ticket price goes to charities.

To date, People's Postcode Lottery players have helped raise over £272 Million for over 4,000 good causes throughout Great Britain and internationally.

A local cause that has received support from players is the Victoria Centre. The group received £1,256 in funding last year to develop a gardening project for young children.

Three more lucky winners elsewhere scooped Saturday's £30,000 Street Prize.
