It was a great weekend in Birmingham and Banbury, as a set of three winners took home £25,000 cheques in our Saturday Street Prize, and three players each won a £5,000 Dream Holiday.

First off, three Birmingham players are delighted this week after winning £25,000 each when their postcode, B44 9UQ, was drawn as a winner in this week's Saturday Street Prize.

Patricia Williams, 48, couldn't quite believe it when she was presented with her cheque from People's Postcode Lottery ambassador and rugby legend Scott Quinnell. "I am very excited and very happy," she said. "I think it will take a few days to sink in."

Patricia, who has only been playing since the end of last year, was at home with her son Joel when she was surprised by the People's Postcode Lottery team. "I had to be at home today for a boiler repair, so this was a really lovely surprise," she said. "I can't wait to go into work to tell my colleagues about my win."

Customer service advisor Patricia already has plans for her winnings. "I plan to invest some of the money and then take a trip to Jamaica to see my family," she said. "We don't get to see my family in Jamaica very often, so I might take my sister and her children on the trip too."

Patricia is looking forward to having friends over to celebrate her win. We were unable to catch up with the other two winners, but their prize money will be delivered to them.

Scott said, "Patricia was absolutely over the moon with her win, and it's such a lovely way to start the New Year. It sounds like she'll be able to take a trip to Jamaica, and I hope she has a fantastic time."

Our second set of winners this week was found in Banbury, as their postcode, OX16 1QQ, was drawn as a winner of this month's £5,000 Dream Holiday.

For Kevin Kent, 61, the win couldn't have come at a better time. "I am getting remarried in August, so we will be able to go on a honeymoon," said Kevin.

Kevin, a supervisor for Bidvest Logistics, and his fiancée Karen, who also works at Bidvest, have been engaged for two years and are looking forward to jetting off on their perfect honeymoon.

"I haven't told my fiancée yet. It will be a nice surprise for her when she finds out," said Kevin. "I am certainly still in shock!"

For Kevin and Karen, the world is their oyster. "It will broaden our options for our honeymoon," he said. "We will need to have a good think about where to go, whether that is one place or multiple places."

The other winners weren't available when People's Postcode Lottery announced the win, so they will get a nice surprise when they receive their Dream Holiday vouchers in the post.

Players have raised over £58.6 Million for charities and good causes across Great Britain and internationally. One local charity to Patricia is the National Advocacy Youth Service, which was awarded funding for their Healthy Activities for Kids in Care project. This project provided healthy sporting activities for children and young people living in residential and foster care in the West Midlands, specifically in the areas of Birmingham, Solihull and Stoke-On-Trent.
