Full Of Glee In Coventry

21 October 2017 - CV3 5LB - Coventry - £30,000
Lady Luck landed in Coventry on Sunday with whopping £30,000 cheques for two very lucky neighbours

Lady Luck landed in Coventry this weekend when postcode CV3 5LB was drawn as the winner of our Saturday Street Prize.

Two very happy neighbours, Malcolm and Suzanne, were dancing with glee after scooping a massive £30,000 each.

Malcolm said, “My wife and I are thinking of moving house soon, so the win will be great to help with that. I'm still healthy and active but I'm not getting any younger - so I think it would be a good idea to move into a bungalow soon. We have three sons and a number of grandchildren, so they'll be getting a treat too.

Suzanne said, It's a lovely surprise! My friend recommended I sign up after she'd had a couple of smaller wins, so I'm very grateful to her. I haven't made any decisions yet, but I have three teenage children - so they all have lots of ideas!”

Danyl Johnson, People's Postcode Lottery Street Prize Presenter, said, “I am delighted for Malcolm and Suzanne, and I hope they enjoy spending their winnings - I'm sure they will!”

A minimum of 31% of the ticket price goes to charities. To date, players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised more than £237 Million for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

A cause local to the lucky winners which has received support from players is Warwickshire Search and Rescue. The charity was awarded £16,281 this year to purchase kayaks, paddles and personal safety equipment for the team who conduct water searches. This means the team will be equipped to keep themselves safe while saving more lives.
