Five lucky players in Northampton are delighted this weekend after their postcode,NN3 8QP, was drawn as a winner in the Saturday Street Prize.

Suzanne Corless, 60, was the biggest winner and walked away with £50,000 by playing with two tickets"I couldn't believe it when Judie pulled out the cheque from the envelope and I saw the five," she said. "It's fantastic!"

Classroom assistant Suzanne only just signed up as a player for the second time. "I used to play before but decided to re-sign up recently – I'm so glad I did!"

As well as paying off some bills, Suzanne has some exciting plans for spending her prize money.

"I have a couple of loans to pay off which will make things easier for me each month. I would love to book a trip away to somewhere like Cornwall with my husband Steve," she said. "I also have two daughters and two granddaughters to spoil so I have plenty to spend it on."

Patricia Warren, 68, couldn't believe it when she was presented with her £25,000 cheque by People's Postcode Lottery ambassador, Judie McCourt. "Surreal is the word for this!" she said.

Retired carer Patricia is still in shock about her win. "For my husband Roger and I, this is life-changingWe can finally visit our daughter, Alison, in Canada. She emigrated with her family four years ago and we've just never been able to afford to go over. Roger phoned her as soon as we had won at 5am her time and woke her up. We're all very excited!"

Patricia's friend and neighbour Pauline O'Connor, 63, was equally shocked when she received her £25,000 cheque. "It's like a dream," she said. "I still can't get over it."  Pauline, who is a retired nurse, has holidays on her mind. "I would love to book a trip to the Far East with my partner Clive," she said. "It's been a long time since we have been on a big holiday like that."

Sandra Smith, 54, was joined by her husband Martin when she was presented with her £25,000 cheque. "This is fantastic," she said. "I've been out of work for a year now so this will really help. I don't have to worry so much about money and I can get the garden and the driveway done."

There was one other winner in the winning postcode who also won £25,000. Rachel James was not available when the team called but her mum, Jenny, was delighted to accept the cheque on her behalf.
