Money Lands In Metfield

18 June - IP20 0LL - Metfield - £25,000

A nurse from Metfield is planning to celebrate her £25,000 lottery win with a trip to France's Champagne region.

Diane Rudge scooped one of this weekend's two Saturday Street Prizes with her postcode IP20 0LL and is looking forward to celebrating in style.

She said, "I am absolutely thrilled to win People's Postcode Lottery. I signed up to play a year ago because money goes to charity and you feel like you're doing a good thing.

"This will pay for a trip to the Champagne region of France and I'll be able to stock up while I'm there. My husband and I have been there before and it's the perfect place to celebrate.

"It's all just so exciting. I have three sons and a grandson who I'll also be able to treat."

People's Postcode Lottery's new ambassador Jeff Brazier, who presented the £25,000 cheque to Diane on her doorstep, added, "I had loads of fun in Metfield. I really enjoyed meeting Diane and presenting her with the winning cheque. It's fantastic that p__layers not only have a chance of winning every single day but they help raise money for so many good causes."

Over £124 Million has been raised to date by players for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

Player-supported charities near Metfield include the Wayland Partnership Development Trust, which received £18,079 this year from Postcode Local Trust and The Kinetic Science Foundation, which was awarded £20,000 last year from People's Postcode Trust.

Also this weekend, lucky players won in Knott End-on-Sea in our second Saturday Street Prize.
