Sensational News For South Nutfield

22 January - RH1 4JP - South Nutfield - £30,000

Three lucky neighbours from South Nutfield have landed £30,000 each. The Kentwyns Rise residents, who play with the postcode RH1 4JP, won the second Street Prize of the weekend.

Retiree Vasco Belenchia was one of the lucky winners. He said, "I'm very excited to have won so much money! It was a complete surprise.

"I have four children so they'll each get a lovely gift. I haven't decided what I'll do with the rest of the money yet, but I'll definitely take myself on a nice holiday somewhere. I'm from Italy originally so I always enjoy a trip back there."

Robert Brawn was also delighted with his win.

One other £30,000 winner on the street was unavailable to receive their cheque, but their winnings will be transferred directly into their bank account.

Street Prize Presenter Matt Johnson said, "It's always great meeting our winners and it was a pleasure to present Vasco and Robert with their cheques. Playing People's Postcode Lottery helps so many charities, which is a great reason to play, and of course you could win. With prizes every day we could be visiting your postcode very soon."

More than £168 Million to date has been raised by players of People's Postcode Lottery for over 2,800 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

A local project that has received support from players is Friends of Merstham Parks and Greens, which was awarded £2,000 last year to transform local woodlands to restore habitats and for use as an educational tool for local primary schools.

More happy players were celebrating, as the first Street Prize of the weekend landed in Thatcham yesterday.
