Cash Flows In Hounslow

20 August - TW5 0JN - Hounslow - £25,000

A chauffeur from Hounslow has picked up a £25,000 win today. Baljit Singh Heer was one of two people from The Warren who scooped one of the two Saturday Street Prizes this weekend, with his postcode TW5 0JN.

Commenting on his brilliant win, Baljit said, "I feel like this has happened for a reason because it couldn’t have come at a better time for me.

"I'm still at home with my parents because I've been struggling to get on the property ladder, but this win will help me get a place of my own.

"I've also recently set up my own chauffeur business, so I'll be investing some of the money into that.

"I would definitely recommend that anyone play People's Postcode Lottery. When I saw the advert on television, I thought I had a realistic chance of winning something - and the rest is history."

One other £25,000 winner on the street was unavailable for the cheque presentation, but their winnings will be deposited directly into their bank account.

Matt Johnson, Street Prize Presenter, said, "I think we have made two people in Hounslow very happy with their £25,000 wins. There could have been more winners on the street if they'd signed up to play People's Postcode Lottery. If you're thinking of playing, do it now!"

Over £135 Million has been raised to date by players of the charity lottery for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

A project that players have supported near Hounslow is Surrey Care Trust, which received a grant of £8,985 last year. The charity provides learning support to help young people and adults overcome disadvantage and social exclusion.

A lucky player also scooped £25,000 in Axminster this weekend, as the other Saturday Street Prize landed in EX13 5NB.
