Scunthorpe Winner Takes It All

A singer in an Abba tribute band from Scunthorpe is celebrating after receiving not just one, but two amazing prizes thanks to playing People's Postcode Lottery!

Amanda was ecstatic to discover her postcode, DN16 3FT, had been drawn as a winner and scooped a cash prize for a staggering £25,000, as well as the keys to a brand new BMW.

After finding out what she had won, Amanda said, "What an amazing surprise – I'm totally gobsmacked! When Judie pulled out the second golden envelope and I found out I'd won the car as well it was the cherry on top of the cake. Nothing like this ever happens to me – I'm completely lost for words and just can't get my head around it!"

After celebrating the windfall with her husband Jack and a bottle of champagne, Amanda plans to go on the trip of a lifetime. She said, "It's always been my dream to go to Australia but up until now it's never been a possibility because of affordability. It's so exciting knowing I'll be able to go now and that I can share the experience with Jack and our three children!"

Offering her congratulations, People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Judie McCourt said, "It was my absolute pleasure to meet Amanda and present her with two incredible prizes. One charity near to our winner that players have supported is The Mosaic Trust. The group was awarded £9,730 last year to create a boundary hedgerow with native British plants, as well as a new pond at the Mosaic Reserve at Austerfield.
