Street Prize

Big Reward For Oxford

16 April 2022 - OX4 3TG - Oxford - £30,000

One Oxford resident is walking on air this weekend after scooping £30,000 in a People's Postcode Lottery Street Prize. 28-year-old Ellie netted the cash after her postcode, OX4 3TG, got lucky.

Thirty Grand And High-Fives

Ellie works for a local charity helping people get involved in physical activity. She was absolutely elated when her cheque was presented. Ellie let out a scream and did a little dance while her partner Cobi burst into a big grin.

Cobi said, "That's insane. Wow!"

When asked what the money means to them Ellie said, "We've just won thirty grand! That's the most money I've ever owned!"

Both Ellie and Cobi rounded off their unexpected visit with high-fives from People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Danyl Johnson, who delivered the good news and special golden envelope.

Danyl said, "It's great news for our winner Ellie in Oxford this weekend. I hope her and Cobi spend the money on something nice for themselves!"

Thousands Of Good Causes

Today's prize is part of a draw promoted on behalf of Postcode Planet Trust, which provides regular grant funding to organisations that work to protect and promote our environment and wildlife. Supported charities include WWF-UK, Marine Conservation Society and The Wildlife Trusts.

With 33% of the ticket price going to charities and good causes, players of People's Postcode Lottery have now raised more than £900 Million for over 9,000 projects and groups. Our players are changing lives for the better.

Fantastic Prizes are announced every single day, and it couldn't be easier to take part. If you're not playing yet then check out How It Works, and if you're feeling lucky, sign up to play.
