New Riches For New Radnor

A New Radnor resident has been celebrating this weekend having won £30,000. Their postcode, LD8 2TD, was announced as the winner of Sunday's Street Prize.

Michael was our latest lucky winner. He said, "I'm over the moon! For £10 a month it's so worth it to be part of all this. It's an easy way to donate a bit of money to charity as well as having a chance to win.

"I'm going to have to think about what to spend the win on – I might build an extension which would be great."

People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Matt Johnson knocked on Michael's door with his golden envelope. Matt said, "Congratulations to Michael! I had a really fantastic trip in Wales to present him with his cheque. It was lovely to be in the green, green grass of home for the day! I hope he enjoys spending his win on his new extension."

With 32% of the ticket price going to charity, players of People's Postcode Lottery have now raised £361 Million for over 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally. This prize was part of a draw promoted by Postcode Support Trust. 

Many local charities have benefited from the funding raised by our amazing players, including Play Radnor. The group recently received £10,000 to create an innovative outdoor learning space for children and young people.
