Street Prize Won In Pocklington

There are celebrations in Pocklington today after neighbours scooped Sunday's £30,000 Street Prize.

Two players have their postcode, YO42 2EL, to thank after it was drawn as a winner.

People's Postcode Lottery players support a range of deserving charities. To date, a total of £310 Million has been raised for over 4,000 good causes in Britain and around the world. Today's Street Prize was promoted by charity Woodland Trust.

Family Matters York is one local cause that has benefited from the support of players. The group was awarded £8,000 last year to deliver parenting and relationship courses to people in the community.
