Big Win For Altrincham

Two lucky Altrincham residents have scooped £30,000 each today thanks to People's Postcode Lottery.

The Woodfield Road neighbours landed the win when their postcode, WA14 4ET, was drawn as the second winner of the weekend's Street Prizes.

More than £175 Million to date has been raised by players for more than 2,800 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

A project near Altrincham that has received support from players is Leisure for Autism, which was awarded £2,400 last year to run a play scheme for children with autism.

There were also celebrations in Sutton Coldfield as one lucky player won £30,000 in the other weekend Street Prize, and players in East Devon shared a whopping £3 Million in the February Postcode Millions.
