Southport Strikes It Lucky

A lucky player in Southport will be packing their bags and making exciting travel plans after winning May's Dream Holiday prize. What a way to start the week!

The Southport resident's lucky postcode, PR8 3QJ, has scooped them a fantastic £5,000 in holiday vouchers and £2,000 in spending money.

It's not just players who benefit from People's Postcode Lottery. 32% of the ticket price goes to a range of amazing charities. To date, more than £301 Million has been raised by players for over 4,000 good causes in Great Britain and internationally. This Dream Holiday prize was promoted by charity Plan International UK.

The Atkinson Development Trust is one good cause local to our latest winner which has received support from People's Postcode Lottery players. The group was awarded £5,000 last year to deliver animation workshops to young people with complex additional needs, such as autism and Asperger syndrome.
