Street Prize

Big Win In Blewbury

23 April - OX11 9NA - Blewbury - £25,000

A player from Blewbury was thrilled to discover her postcode had won her £25,000 in the one of this weekend's Saturday Street Prizes.

Tracy Walker, whose postcode OX11 9NA landed the big win, said she was over the moon to discover she had scooped the prize.

Tracy said: "I am absolutely buzzing this morning. It truly feels astonishing – like all my dreams have come true. The money is going to change my life. I'd have been happy with £1,000, but when I pulled that cheque out and it said £25,000, I was just stunned. My Uncle Barry, Aunt Denise and a good friend Mandy were there this morning too and they were just so happy for me.

"I'm going to pay a couple of bills and then have a big think about what to spend the money on, and I can't wait! And then I'll be getting a round or two in at the pub for a few friends!

"I joined People's Postcode Lottery about a year ago and then had to cancel the subscription for a while – but I joined back up last month and obviously I'm so glad now that I did! It means so much to me too that the money is used to support so many charities."

Players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised over £113 Million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

Supported charities near Blewbury include One-Eighty in Oxford, which received £13,000 this year. One-Eighty works to ensure children are able to enjoy a healthy and flourishing relationship with education. The funding went towards their Kick Start programme, which is a special intensive mentoring and behaviour support service.

Also today, a player in Longstock scooped a £25,000 Saturday Street Prize.
